Pick Your Own Cherries
Mount Pleasant Cherries is an easy 10 minute drive from Orange. Our orchard is located at 98 Mount Pleasant Lane, Canobolas.
​Our orchard is located on two main blocks (either side of Mount Pleasant Lane). With plenty of signage directing you where to go on the day of your visit, including to parking on the orchard.
Once parked, follow the signs to where one of our friendly staff will guide you to the area of the orchard that is the ripest.
You will be supplied with a bucket prior to heading into the orchard to pick some delicious cherries. When finished we will then transfer your cherries into our special cherry boxes for you to take home.

Entry Fee: FREE!
Cherries: $20 for a 2 kg box or $40 for a 5 kg box.
Cash preferred, but EFTPOS facilities available (small surcharge applies).

Cherry Picking Tips & Orchard Courtesy
Even though beautiful Orange is renowned for its mild summers, don’t forget hats, sunscreen, and plenty of water! Enclosed footwear is also recommended.

Only pick the ripe fruit! We will take you to the ripest tastiest fruit so rest assured you will only get the best (cherries don’t ripen once off the tree).

Taste test! A little taste test along the way is encouraged – just don’t eat too many or you’ll get cherry belly (and red stained hands)!

Respect the trees - Don’t swing on or snap the branches so that we can have another nice crop for the next year.

Once cherries are picked, they are required to be purchased (we can’t put them back on the tree unfortunately).

Keep them cool – refrigerate your cherries as soon as you can to keep them fresh. We recommend leaving an Esky or camping fridge in your car to keep them cool straight away!
With views back to Orange, we welcome you to take plenty of photos (remember to tag us) and soak in the beautiful surrounds.
